Here at electriibe, we take our customer’s safety very seriously and will always advise that you carefully follow local, state and federal laws before making a purchase with us. A general rule of thumb that we advise is that you take the same safety precautions you would as when riding a bicycle.

Thoroughly read the following safety tips and take them seriously to avoid losing control while riding an electric ride, falling or sustaining a potentially serious injury.

 

 

Children under 8 years of age should ALWAYS have an adult supervising and watching carefully. Our products should never be ridden by anyone under the recommended age limit. We recommend to not letting a child ride a scooter without supervision unless he/she has experience riding a two-wheeled bike for at least a half a year.

Always wear an ANSI, SNELL, CPSC, or ATSM approved helmet. We also recommend elbow and kneepads. We recommend that you never wear sandals or bare foot, and to have athletic shoes when riding an electric vehicle.

Always make sure that your shoes are laced tight to avoid the laces ever getting caught.

Before riding your e-ride, make sure to read the owner’s manual that comes with the product.

Before every ride, check and secure all fasteners and check wheels for wear and tear. Replace worn or broken parts immediately. Keep your product clean by wiping with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust.

Practice makes perfect. Before riding with others, make sure that you are confident in your riding skills before joining others. Learn how tight a turn you can comfortably make and practice applying the brake at various speeds in an open area. Hold onto the handlebars at all times.
